Import tests from any doc in Pear Assessment. Plus, a new dashboard!

We're rolling out a shiny new dashboard when you log into Pear Assessment, designed to give you quicker access to all your go-to tasks. This means you'll be able to assign tests with fewer clicks – because we know your time is precious. Don't worry if you're attached to the old dashboard, though. We've added a handy toggle so you can switch back anytime. It's all about giving you options!

The star of this new dashboard is the Test Creation section. It's front and center, offering all the ways to quickly create or import your tests, or assign one from our library. Here you’ll find a brand-new option: our import-from-document feature! Many teachers have years' worth of tests saved in various formats, and now you can bring them straight into Pear Assessment. Whether it's a PDF, Word doc, or even an image, we'll extract those questions automatically. 

Just below the test creation area, you'll find a view of your recent assignments, complete with submission and grading statuses and associated reports. Right next to it, you can manage your active classes and view related assignments and reports. 

Whether you’re using the old or new dashboard, finding content is made easy with the search bar in the top navigation. Speaking of finding content more easily, we've made significant improvements to the item bank filters. We've consolidated standards by aggregating them by subject instead of leaving them split up by individual courses. This is especially helpful for teachers in Southern states, making it much simpler to select the right standard filter set. This is the first major batch of consolidation, with more to come.
