Pear Deck adds Certified Content in Google Slides and Response Resubmission, and improves Instant Pear Decks

We're excited to announce several improvements to Pear Deck for a strong close to 2024: 

Response Resubmission
We've listened to your feedback and are introducing Response Resubmission! This allows you to give your students multiple opportunities to answer Choice, Number, Poll, and Text interactives. Whether it's a practice round, after feedback, or reteaching, students can now refine their responses and demonstrate their understanding, and you can control when to show them the correct answer. All student responses (including the correct one!) and individual feedback will be available in Reflect & Review for you and your students to reference after class. You can simply turn off Response Resubmission to immediately grade student responses and inform each student whether their answer is correct.

Instant Pear Decks improvements
Our content generation tool, Instant Pear Decks, allows you to create standards-aligned lessons within 30 seconds. We've made some important updates to add more instructional slides to each lesson, providing a deeper foundation for student learning. Your Instant Pear Decks now include 2-3 instructional slides per objective, offering more comprehensive instruction and examples before transitioning to interactive activities.  Additionally, Instant Pear Decks are now better calibrated to the reading level of the selected grade, with slide content more closely aligned with the average reading level of students of the grade you are teaching. This includes vocabulary and sentence complexity adjustments, making the lessons more accessible and engaging for younger learners.

Seamlessly add Certified Content
Adding expert-authored, standards-aligned Math and ELA content to your lessons is now easier than ever! Our Google Slides add-on is getting another major upgrade. Starting mid December, you'll have direct access to Certified Content, enabling you to seamlessly incorporate ready-to-use slides or entire lessons into your presentations, saving you hours of lesson development time and effort.
